Black Friday gift ideas 2026: for her, for him, and the key dates

Black Friday falls this year on Friday 27 November 2026, and Cyber Monday on Monday 30 November. For many people, it is the moment to start their holiday shopping. You still need to know what to give, to whom, and how late you can order to receive it in time. Here are our ideas, sorted by person, and the key dates.

The key dates

  • Friday 27 November: Black Friday.
  • Monday 30 November: Cyber Monday, and the last recommended day to order a holiday gift.
  • Delivery time: our orders are dispatched within 1 to 3 working days, then delivery is estimated at between 7 and 12 working days. Allow up to three weeks between ordering and receiving.

For a gift to put under the tree on 25 December, order by 30 November at the latest. After that, delivery in time can no longer be guaranteed. The simplest approach: draw up your list now, so you can order without rushing.

For her

  • A piece of jewellery. Hoops, stud earrings, bracelets and rings in stainless steel, with a gold-tone or steel finish, and a few pieces in 925 silver. Earrings and necklaces have one advantage: no size to guess. See Women's jewellery.
  • A personal necklace. An initial, a birthstone, a heart or an engraved medallion: the necklace becomes a gift that reflects her. See Necklaces & pendants.
  • A watch. Square, cushion or rectangular case, starry or rhinestone-set dial, slim steel, leather or Milanese mesh strap. See Women's watches.
  • A scarf or fingerless gloves. A light stole, a square to knot, a scarf, or knitted fingerless gloves for winter. See Scarves & wraps.
  • Soft loungewear. Pyjamas in modal or ribbed knit, a satin nightie, a kimono tied at the waist: the gift she wears from the very first evening. See Lingerie & Nightwear.

For him

  • A mechanical watch. An automatic with a skeleton dial, a hand-wound pocket watch with an engraved lid, or a more understated quartz model. A mechanical watch never needs a battery: you wind it by hand, or it winds itself on the wrist if it is an automatic. See Men's watches.
  • A steel chain. Faceted link or wheat link, to wear on its own. See Necklaces & pendants.

For someone who feels the cold

  • A jumper or a cardigan. Ribbed or cable knit, bouclé cardigan, cropped cardigan, hoodie: loose fits that are easy to give. See Jumpers & Sweatshirts.
  • A jacket for the season. Zip-up fleece, velvet blazer, open coat with a draped collar, long chunky-knit cardigan. See Jackets & Coats.

Preparing your list

  • For clothing, note the size before ordering. Look at the label of a garment the person wears often, then compare it with the measurements on the product page. Our women's size guide explains how.
  • For a watch, look at the movement, the case size and the strap: our guide to choosing a watch helps you decide.
  • For steel jewellery, the grade of steel and the finish make the difference: read our guide to stainless steel jewellery.
  • For pyjamas, the fabric determines comfort: our guide to choosing pyjamas compares satin, cotton and knit.
